Camarès Communications was founded in 1982 as a marketing communications company strictly focused on marketing technology companies. Over the years we worked with major corporations: AT&T, IBM, Sanofi and growth companies as well as start ups and major publishing conglomerates like CMP. In the process we’ve researched, written and spoken about just about every new technology to hit the market. Our command of IT issues from security, to architecture to regulatory concerns is fluent. When we work with IT service companies or web developers, we walk the talk. We know how and when to hold feet to the fire, what is reasonable and what is not. We have taken our years of hard-earned tech knowledge and transferred it to older retail enterprises, business-to-business companies and traditional publishing companies, triaging, accelerating and inventing their e-businesses.

Camarès founder, Deb Di Gregorio was inducted into the New Jersey Advertising Hall of Fame in 2003 for her work promoting technology companies in the state for more than two decades. We’re jaded marketers. We know that right now most media is equally expensive and equally ineffective. When it comes to marketing, we know what works and what doesn’t. Most importantly we understand how web marketing works. Our track record is stellar, proven and reliable. Our approach is candid, clear and reasoned. If it does not advance your company and increase revenue for a reasonable investment, it doesn’t make sense.

Over the years, our experience brought us to this: you can’t succeed if the product and timing isn’t right. So we developed methodologies to test, measure and prove market assumptions, write business plans swiftly with powerful ROI measurements and then execute them on behalf of our clients. Oh, how we wish we could have been seduced by the dot.com boom, the telecom boom, the software boom, the boom boom — but we weren’t. We’d seen too much irrational exuberance and too many agonizing busts. When markets start looking like a game of Texas Hold’em it’s not about creating reliable earnings over the long term. And creating long term earnings is so much more of a sure thing than hoping and praying to be dealt a royal venture capitol flush.
Camarès builds strong, resilient e-businesses, or e-business channels for old line companies. Our advice is salient, prudent and often visionary. When you’ve been there and done that dozens of times for tens of dozens of companies, you know what to look for on the horizon.
