Zoho CRM’s related-list and automation upgrades (plus a webhook security item worth flagging), and Zoho Books’ new Walmart integration

This week’s Zoho release calendar was light on volume but not on substance: Zoho CRM shipped a batch of workflow upgrades (plus a security wrinkle worth knowing about), and Zoho Books added a marketplace integration that matters if you sell on Walmart. Here’s what changed and why it matters.
Zoho CRM: Fewer Workarounds, More Records Per Page
Rolled out the week of July 6–12
- Related List Expanded View removes the old 10-record cap—up to 100 records per page, with filtering and bulk actions available right from the detail page.
- Write-enabled Queries (Kaizen #250): REST API sources in Query Workbench now support POST, PUT, PATCH, and DELETE, opening up more Blueprint and Kiosk automation without custom code.
- Zoho Projects now embeds directly into CRM Teamspaces, so reps and project teams can work from one screen instead of switching apps.
- The email composer gained custom fonts and a default reply-to address.
- A native cookie-consent banner for CRM webforms, with opt-in/opt-out and privacy-policy linking built in.
Why it matters: Several of these—especially the expanded related lists and write-enabled queries—are the kind of thing that used to require a custom Creator workaround. That’s less custom build time on future implementations and less maintenance overhead on existing ones.
One flag, not a feature: A Zoho Community thread this week reported that CRM webhook configurations store API keys and bearer tokens in plain text, visible to anyone with sandbox or developer access. No fix has shipped yet. If you have clients who share sandbox access with outside developers or agencies, it’s worth a heads-up and a review of who currently has that access.
Zoho Books: A Walmart Integration and Smarter Pricing

- A new Walmart integration (US Edition)—product sync, stock and order updates, shipment and return tracking, and payout reconciliation, all inside Books/Inventory.
- Price Lists tied to Business Locations, so pricing can automatically follow a location-based hierarchy instead of manual overrides.
- Auto Batch Assignment for Inventory (FIFO, FEFO, or LIFO), plus Partial Replenishment and Unit Groups for unit-of-measure conversions.
- Layout Rules for custom modules and annexure attachments on PDF templates (supporting documents now auto-append instead of going out as separate files).
Why it matters: This is a direct win for any client selling on Walmart Marketplace, and the location-based pricing and batch-tracking features cut down on manual work for multi-location or multi-warehouse operations.
The Honest Read on the Rest
Beyond CRM and Books, this was mostly a quiet week. Zoho Creator has a notable new capability—production hotfixes in its Environments framework, letting urgent fixes skip the full dev→stage→prod cycle—but as of this writing it’s only documented in Zoho’s knowledge base and hasn’t been posted to Creator’s official release notes yet, so treat it as early rather than confirmed. And if you’ve been assuming Zoho One covers everything: while researching this week, we confirmed that Zoho Workerly, Zoho Shifts, Zoho FSM, and Zoho ServiceDesk Plus are not actually part of the Zoho One bundle—each requires its own subscription. Worth knowing before a client conversation assumes otherwise.
