Zoho One Adds Two New Apps at No Extra Cost, Plus Fresh Upgrades in Forms, Learn, Recruit and Sprints
Your weekly briefing on the Zoho updates that actually matter for running your business.
Camarès Zoho Updates · Week of Sept. 8-15, 20266
We checked release notes and community feeds across the full Zoho One roster — Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Service, BI, Projects, developer tools and security — and found seven updates worth your attention this week. The headline: two new apps just joined the Zoho One bundle, at no extra cost to anyone already subscribed. Beyond that, there are smaller but useful upgrades in Zoho Forms, Zoho Marketing Automation, Zoho Learn, Zoho Recruit, Zoho Sprints and Zoho Catalyst.
Zoho One: Two New Apps Just Joined Your Subscription
Published September 2026
If you run your business on Zoho One, you now have access to two more apps without paying a cent more. Zoho Tables is a flexible way to organize data and workflows — think of it as a simpler alternative to juggling spreadsheets across your team. Zoho Publish helps you manage how your business appears on Google Search and Google Maps, from a single dashboard, so your hours, photos and reviews stay accurate everywhere customers find you. Zoho also expanded the types of custom fields available on employee profiles across the platform.
Why it matters: This is money already spent working harder for you. If part of your team has been tracking projects or inventory in scattered spreadsheets, Tables is worth a look before you buy another point solution. If your business depends on local search — a storefront, a service area, multiple locations — Publish is worth 15 minutes of your time this month.

Zoho Catalyst: A Behind-the-Scenes Upgrade for Custom Apps
Published Sept. 8, 2026
Zoho’s developer platform, included in Zoho One, simplified how custom business apps are built by unifying two separate development tools into one.
Why it matters: You won’t see this change directly, but if we’ve ever built you a custom app or automation on Zoho’s platform, this is a quiet win: it means those tools stay simpler and less expensive to maintain over time. No action needed on your end.

Zoho Forms: Building a Form Just Got Faster
Published September 2026
Zoho Forms can now suggest answer options for multiple-choice and dropdown questions automatically, instead of you typing each one by hand. It also added a banner image field and a ready-made country list field.
Why it matters: If your business collects information through online forms — job applications, customer intake, event registration — this shaves real time off building and updating them.

Zoho Marketing Automation: More Room in Your WhatsApp Messages
Published September 2026
Businesses messaging customers over WhatsApp through Zoho can now include up to 10 quick-reply buttons in a single message, up from the previous limit.
Why it matters: If you use WhatsApp to reach customers, this means options like “Track My Order,” “Talk to Sales” or “Reschedule” can all live in one message instead of forcing a back-and-forth.

Zoho Learn: Clearer Reporting on Training and Onboarding
Published September 2026
Zoho Learn added usage reports for training spaces and portals, an easier-to-read reporting view, the ability to turn existing help articles into lessons with one click, and a custom “from” email address for training communications.
Why it matters: If you use Zoho Learn to train new hires or document how your business runs, you can now see what your team is actually reading and reuse content you already have, instead of writing new training material from scratch.

Zoho Recruit: See Where Your Job Candidates Come From
Published September 2026
Zoho Recruit can now connect a company’s career site to Google Tag Manager, so you can see where job applicants are coming from and which pages they visit before applying. Recruit also added the ability to send one update to an entire slate of candidates at once, instead of individual emails.
Why it matters: If you’re hiring, this gives you the kind of marketing-style insight into your job postings that most small and midsize businesses never bother to set up — and it cuts down on the email back-and-forth during a busy search.

Zoho Sprints: Small Fixes That Add Up
Published September 2026
Zoho Sprints, Zoho’s project-tracking tool, picked up a handful of usability improvements: easier ways to see related work items, a customizable project view and a new way to filter progress reports by team member.
Why it matters: If your team plans work in Sprints, none of this changes how the tool works — it just removes friction day to day.

Nothing on the Deadline Clock This Week
None of this week’s updates carry a mandatory migration or retirement deadline. Everything above is available now, and none of it requires you to act by a certain date.
One for the Radar: Claude Joins Zoho’s Sister Help Desk Product
Published Sept. 14, 2026
A quick public-service note, not a Zoho One item: ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus — a separate IT help desk product from the same parent company as Zoho, and not part of the Zoho One bundle — added Claude, the AI model built by Anthropic, as a supported option for its built-in AI assistant. None of our clients currently run ServiceDesk Plus, so this doesn’t affect anyone we support today. We’re flagging it only because it’s a sign of where AI support is heading across Zoho’s broader family of products.
